Alex and I went to the MSPCA in JP yesterday, and about 5 minutes after we got there they brought in a box of 4-1 month old kittens. We're going in today to finalize the adoption, and picking him up on Monday because he still needs to be spayed. HE'S SSSSOOO CCCUUUUUTETTEETETEEEE

i wish for a single day that i could go back to the time when my mother ran an herb shop. i remember sitting on the stool by the register all day, being completely content with the scents of thyme and rosemary and the like filling my nostrils. going through her cookbooks, i just remembered today how much i enjoyed that. i've been back on cape cod for not even twenty four hours, and i feel like i'm already developing a case of cabin fever. i just got a call from a collection agency because the movie hocus pocus has been out since october 31st, and i owe hollywood video about $50. oh, debt. you're awesome. stick with me my whole life and make me miserable, please? i wish i could get a job, but it would probably be pointless because i'm getting my tonsils out in about a week, and i wouldn't be able to work for another two.

i am glad to say that i am at one with my situation(s) right now. i've felt more growth in the past four days than i have in a while. i am eighteen. i need to remind myself of that occasionally. i've been introduced to a completely different side of myself, which scares me to a certain extent, but also makes me wonder why this side has been buried for so long. i am looking forward to visiting some untraveled roads.

i weigh 162.2 lbs, and i am not happy about it to say the least. i started working out for the first time since my freshman year today, and i've really been trying to eat healthy. as soon as i have the money, i really want to get this:

ritz camera sucks on saturdays, being in a bad mood and then getting lectured after leaving ritz camera on a saturday sucks even more. i don't remember my last sit-around-all-day-and-do-nothing day thanks to having two jobs with really poorly made schedules. i haven't had time to take any pictures and i can't find my one and only lens for my d50. my aunt just found out that she has breast cancer. i've been smoking too much weed. i'm over-tired and starving. i can't stop complaining. all i want is for it to be after 9 o'clock p.m. so i can sit around and drink beers with people that quickly lighten my mood. i'm starting a fashion zine, and i need people to take pictures of for it. hit me up, bra.

though sick and tired and slightly unnerved, i want to drive my car all around cape cod. i feel like i haven't gone outside of hyannis and chatham aside from the transit in between the two for a very long time. it is finally a suitable temperature for my extremities to be exposed, and my feet weren't ice cubes when i woke up this morning. i have so much overdue work, but i have somehow managed to let it not bother me the way it usually would. i'm seeing one of my top three favorite lyricists/vocalists tonight, and i could not be happier. i just wish that my nose would stop running. aside from my leaking nose and pounding head cold, my life is really good right now.
